A solemn ceremony of presenting certificates to holders of the state scholarship of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic is taking place in the small hall of the Palace of the Republic. This is an annual event, which has been conducting since 2001. Students and professional and additional education organizations students are the scholarship holders. These are excellent students, active participants and winners of various Olympiads and creative competitions. 108 recipients of monthly scholarship payments have been identified this year. Among them there are representatives of the Pridnestrovian State University, the Law Institute of Tiraspol, the Higher Art College in Bendery, the Pridnestrovian State Institute of Arts, the Olympic Reserve School, students of technical schools and colleges, students of sports, music, art schools, a station for young tourists, the Palace of Children and Youth Creativity.
Welcoming the young people, the President noted, “The Presidential Scholarship is an opportunity to recognize and encourage young people who strive for knowledge and self-improvement. I am sure that there are future leaders, school directors, heads of kindergartens, ministers and, quite possibly, the future President in this room now. The future is yours. Go forward, do not stop. The Lord gives what we can. You have a lot of strength, like all our people, our state as a whole”. Vadim Krasnoselsky congratulated the scholarship recipients on the well-deserved recognition of their achievements and wished them health, patience, good luck and peace.
