The PMR President held a meeting with the leaders of the Supreme Council and the Government of the PMR

The meeting of the President with the heads of the legislative and executive branches of power was held at the presidential executive office. Vadim Krasnoselsky invited Alexander Korshunov and appointed the day before to the post of Chairman of the PMR Government Alexander Rosenberg to discuss the mechanism for further interaction, to outline a plan for joint work. The PMR President aimed at fruitful constructivism, emphasizing that the separation of powers prescribed in the Pridnestrovian Constitution is an important tool of democracy that allows successfully applying the principle of checks and balances. It is important at the same time to understand that the goals and objectives of government agencies are the same, and the citizens' perception of power as such is also common, Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized.  

The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic said that legislation should be flexible and improved based on realities. The President called direct interaction with citizens and public organizations an important component of the activities of officials.

The interlocutors told the PMR President that immediately after the official appointment, Alexander Rosenberg held a working meeting with the Chairman and members of the Presidium of the PMR Supreme Council, discussing areas and forms of interaction.

Vadim Krasnoselsky drew attention to the fact that the Government team has been preserved, and the heads of state administrations of cities and regions continue to work. The current mechanism is viable and effective, the President noted, indicating that he is counting on its further improvement under the leadership of Alexander Rosenberg.

The participants of today's meeting paid attention to the issues of current budget adjustments and the implementation of state development programs. They talked about measures taken to ensure food security, timely and full fulfillment by the state of social obligations, and support for economic agents. A schedule of meetings was outlined, including joint and offsite meetings.
