Vadim Krasnoselsky noted the high level of preparation and holding of the Easter holidays, expressing gratitude to everyone who was involved in this work. The participants of the meeting spoke about the cleaning and repair activities carried out at the cemeteries, outlining plans for their further improvement. The need for address marking of burials is indicated: it is problematic for visitors to navigate a large area of cemeteries without signs.
The meeting participants discussed the issue of abandoned buildings – both private households and idle and dilapidated infrastructure belonging to organizations. Specific objects were identified that not only spoil the appearance of settlements, but pose a danger to citizens. They talked about improving the legal framework governing this area. They mentioned among others the territory of the former Tkachenko plant. The area overgrown with weeds is located in the center of the capital. It is necessary for its effective use in the future to start with clearing, the PMR President set the task.
Another object that was discussed in the course of the meeting is the Tiraspol skating rink. It was planned that it will work after resuscitation until the beginning of May, and then it will be closed for a global reconstruction. Taking into consideration the duration of the upcoming May holidays, it was decided due to numerous requests from visitors to postpone the suspension of the sports and entertainment facility for 10 days.
The heads of state administrations told the President about the preparations for the Victory Day. Festive programs are thought out. Flower-laying ceremonies, rallies, concerts, dugouts mass events and other traditional events for this holiday will be organized in all cities and regions of the republic. There will be no military parade and "Immortal Regiment" mass nationwide action in the capital this year. The celebrations will be held locally in Tiraspol as in other settlements of Pridnestrovie. Towns and districts should be thematically decorated, the President emphasized. He focused on the need to put in order the memorials, monuments and burial places of the defenders of the Fatherland. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that it is important to involve not only specialized municipal services, but also young people in this work. Special attention should be paid during the May holidays to veterans of the Great Patriotic War, children of the war, home front workers, the President recalled.
