The President while on a working visit to Slobodzeya District visited the facility owned by LLC "Oktavian". Vadim Krasnoselsky had previously visited the enterprise, touring its crop fields, farm, and processing sector. The President was shown a specialized facility ready for launch the new dairy production plant in the village of Korotnoye a year ago. The plant is operating successfully, supplying the republic's retail outlets with products in high demand among the population, such as milk, kefir, sour cream, and yogurt today.
Established in 2003, the enterprise adopted a full-cycle production model, cultivating its own feed crops in addition to raising livestock. The farm currently maintains a herd of 310 head of cattle, including 125 dairy cows that produce two tons of milk daily. A quarter of the milk yield is currently used for the company's own production, while the remainder is supplied to the Tiraspol Dairy Plant. However, plans are in place to increase processing volumes to the facility's full capacity of 2000 tons. Sales channels are currently being established. Facility manager Alexander Zalevsky noted that consumers are gradually discovering and becoming accustomed to the products; feedback has been positive, and a loyal customer base is already forming. The President inquired about the source of the packaging: glass bottles are purchased from a local manufacturer, while plastic packaging comes from a neighboring republic. A distinctive feature of LLC "Oktavian's" fermented milk products is that they mature directly within their retail packaging; the facility is equipped with specialized thermostatic ripening rooms and a cheese-ripening unit. Guests were invited to sample "Nasha Ferma" (Our Farm) products.
