A rally against the Moldovan blockade took place in the center of Tiraspol. Tens of thousands of Pridnestrovians demonstrated an active civic position. Citizens who arrived from all over the republic marched from the Theater named after Nadezhda Aronetskaya to Alexander Suvorov Square. There was on banners and posters the attitude of Pridnestrovian residents towards the arbitrariness of Moldova, economic pressure, violation of the rights and freedoms of citizens of the PMR. The march was continued by a rally, initiated and organized by the Federation of Trade Unions of Pridnestrovie, the Union of Industrialists, Agrarians and Entrepreneurs of Pridnestrovie and the United Strike Committee. The mass event was exclusively peaceful and socially significant. The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky took part in it.
The position of the Pridnestrovians was publicly voiced by representatives of various public organizations and enterprises. The participants voted for the final resolution, the text of which will be sent to the leadership of Moldova, participants in the “5+2” format, and international organizations, expressing hope that the world community will hear the Pridnestrovians, and Moldova will listed to the voice of reason and conscience.
