Vadim Krasnoselsky maintains constant contact with the public, holding meetings with residents of cities and districts, representatives of various organizations and fields of activity. A cycle of meetings with state employees is open during this period. Recently, the President spoke with military personnel, today a turn of representatives of the Pridnestrovian State TV and Radio Company, in the near future an open conversation is planned with the staff of the prosecutor’s office, the PMR Foreign Ministry, the State Customs Committee and others. “Communication at the meetings of the collegiums is the official summing up and setting of tasks. I strive for lively interesting communication. These are not meetings for the sake of the meetings as such. Problems are spoken, real solutions are proposed, interesting ideas and proposals are born in open conversation, which then form the basis of new projects”, the President noted.
The meeting of the President with journalists was held at the Pridnestrovian State TV and Radio Company - in a new studio, still under construction, but already functioning. They talked about politics and economics, information security and social support of public sector employees, about improving infrastructure and developing tourism, about relations with Moldova, Ukraine and Russia, as well as advances in resolving issues related to obtaining Russian citizenship by Pridnestrovian and maternity capital. Culture and sport was mentioned. Personnel policy was considered in detail: journalists asked about the possibility of raising qualifications outside the republic, talking about a serious shortage of specialists for the Moldovan and Ukrainian editions. The staff of the broadcasting company were interested in the opinion of the President on the quality of their work, asked for recommendations on how to fill the broadcasting network and the subject matter of the materials, as well as on assistance in simplifying and speeding up the procedure for coordinating the recording of interviews with heads of ministries and departments. The President, noting that efficiency is one of the most important components of the work of modern media, emphasized that the time of preparing the interviewee should not exceed one hour. Corresponding work with the heads of state structures of the authorities was entrusted to Lidia Kolodka, the head of the Media State Service. Vadim Krasnoselsky said that he is not a fan of speeches in front of cameras, but the position requires.
The interlocutors devoted a significant part of the conversation to creative plans and projects. Director of the First Pridnestrovian Igor Nikitenko told about the idea of the current television season to hold a series of studio meetings with Pridnestrovian musicians before the end of the year, and then to write a collective holiday greeting for the New Year holidays. The head of the state service reported on ongoing poetry and art competitions, noting the interest and activity of Pridnestrovians. A proposal was made to organize a large-scale song contest that will allow discovering new talents among vocalists. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that the state radio should fill the air as much as possible with the work of Pridnestrovian artists. “Person should feel necessary and useful. If they feel useless, they become depressed. Pridnestrovians are talented and responsive. Remember the mobilization collection in 2017: the turnout was very high, because the people of the republic want to be involved in the fate of Pridnestrovie. We have a huge number of talented people. They should be given the opportunity to prove themselves. A variety of projects, all sorts of sites should be created to do this. I look forward to your creativity, new ideas related to the popularization of Pridnestrovian culture”, the President said. He noted the social significance of journalistic activities, including the promotion of international recognition of Pridnestrovie. The President noted a rather high level of professionalism of the team of Pridnestrovian State TV and Radio Company, while emphasizing that the desire for self-improvement and development should not run out under any circumstances.
