The Consultative Assembly of the first Pridnestrovian deputies is the body operating under the PMR Supreme Council. It consists of those who were at the origins of the creation of the republic and to this day actively participate in its life. Today was the 49th meeting. The President took part in it. Vadim Krasnoselsky answered the questions of the First Pridnestrovian Deputies. The discussion was attended by the PMR Chairman of the Government, the Parliament Speaker, ministers, heads of state administrations of cities and regions of the republic, heads of public organizations.
The President was asked, for example, about interaction with the state authorities of Russia, in particular, about the dialogue with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kozak. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that working contacts are regular. The next meeting is scheduled for next week. On Monday, the Pridnestrovian delegation led by the President flies to Moscow. The visit will last a few days. The work schedule is full. The President has planned a series of meetings with representatives of the legislative and executive branches of Government of the Russian Federation. The pre-agreed date for the meeting with Dmitry Kozak is September 26. The Russian platform for dialogue was not chosen by chance. A larger number of Russian officials in Moscow will be able to take part in the discussion, which will allow working out a wide range of issues, said Vadim Krasnoselsky. Political interaction, peacekeeping (including the issue of disposing of expired ammunition), the economy (this block will include the gas issue, electricity export, the banking sector), as well as humanitarian and information contacts are among discussed issues. These are traditional areas of Pridnestrovian-Russian cooperation, the joint work on which is systemic, the PMR President emphasized in an interview with the first Pridnestrovian deputies. In addition, he announced planned meeting with compatriots at the Official Representative Office of Pridnestrovie in Moscow.
The interlocutors today paid special attention to the topic of closing Moldovan banks' accounts of Pridnestrovian enterprises. Vadim Krasnoselsky focused on the current state of affairs and the measures taken to overcome this situation. He noted that he insisted on an independent audit by international experts. This is necessary to confirm the groundlessness of the accusations against the economic entities of Pridnestrovie. Relevant appeals have already been sent. According to Vadim Krasnoselsky, the guarantors and observers of the “5 + 2” format agree with the Pridnestrovian position on this issue.
They talked during today's meeting about paying salaries to the employees of the Softshoes factory, pricing, state orders, neutral license plates for Pridnestrovian cars, Moldova’s attempts to take control of the import of medical supplies into Pridnestrovie, and elaborating an action plan in case of reduction in the volume or interruption of gas supplies. They also mentioned the conflict situation between the Pridnestrovian land users and a certain Moldovan company in the Dubossary district. They talked about housing for the defenders of Pridnestrovie (this year this category of citizens allocated 9 apartments), as well as the free provision of medicines. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that for the current year 90 million rubles were allocated for preferential medicines in the budget. Last year, under this article, 80 million were allocated from the state treasury. It is important that doctors not just prescribe, but give preferential drugs, focusing on the list of available free drugs, the President emphasized, saying that the Ministry of Health was charged with conducting an audit of medical stores and taking control over the issue.
They asked the President about the prospects for repairing the housing stock of the republic, giving specific addresses of houses in poor condition. Oleg Dovgopol took part in the discussion of this issue. He recalled that there are 1100 multi-storey buildings in Tiraspol. Taking into account the limited financial capabilities, roofing and communication networks are being updated as a matter of priority. The head of the city administration noted that in determining the priority, houses with the least debt for utility bills are a priority. They remembered today the apartment building, which was built, but was not commissioned, located in Sverdlov Street.
Discussing the fate of Russian peacekeeping on the Pridnestrovian land, Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled the agreement dated 1992. It stipulates that the peacekeeping forces of the Russian Federation will remain on this territory until the Moldovan- Pridnestrovian conflict is completely stopped. According to the PMR President, the conflict will be considered terminated from the moment of recognition of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
The conversation between the President and the members of the Assembly of the First Pridnestrovian Deputies lasted two hours. They discussed more than twenty questions. Concluding the meeting, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted the value of direct dialogue and the significance of the views of the founders of the republic for him.
