Several variants for institutions were proposed in the course of today's meeting of the Operational Headquarters that were suitable for the isolation and treatment of citizens suspected of being infected with coronavirus. The President, accompanied by the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Health, examined all the buildings. Among the buildings thire is already existing coronavirus hospital, deployed on the basis of the Slobodzeya Republican Clinical Hospital. At present, there are six infected Pridnestrovians and about two dozen citizens awaiting analysis results. The buildings reserved for the infectious diseases hospital are prepared to receive two hundred patients. If necessary, it will be expanded to 350 beds due to another building. The institution is provided with everything necessary, including three hundred sets of full-protective clothing. Another hundred units are reserved and are at the disposal of the Operational Headquarters. Vadim Krasnoselsky instructed to allocate several sets to each city and district.
The capacity of the Slobodzeya hospital, the number of places of controlled medical isolation will be increased by three sanatoriums and dispensaries if the scale of infection exceeds: the Ministry of Defense "Dniester Dawns" in Merenesty, "Solnechny" in Dnestrovsk (an object of the Ministry of Internal Affairs) and the dispensary. The commission, headed by the President, visited all the facilities. "Dniester dawns" are ready to receive 150 people, "Solnechny" will ensure another one and a half hundred citizens, 130 patients can be accommodated in the clinic.
An important aspect that the President drew attention to: the Slobodzeya hospital will accept citizens with a confirmed diagnosis, the rest of the institutions involved in the case of the mass spread of coronavirus are designed to accommodate quarantined persons until laboratory results are obtained.
