The town, as well as the villages of Gyska, Protyagailovka and Varnitsa, are assigned to the State Administration of Bendery. 89386 people live in these settlements. Migration growth is observed, Roman Ivanchenko noted in the report. Speaking about the population’s employment, the Head noted that the last two years there has been an acute shortage of workers in the labor market. In this regard, it was decided to hold a job fair. Of the 67 enterprises and institutions of the city, 22 took part in it. 172 people visited the fair. Nearly 1400 vacancies were offered. Seven people were employed as a result.

The total revenues of the local budget amounted to 270.3 million rubles, expenditures - 267.7 million (76.6% was directed to finance a socially protected block). Bendery is a large industrial center. There are enterprises of electrical, machine-building, woodworking, light, printing, food industries on its territory. 5.6 thousand hectares occupy agricultural land. During the year, products worth more than 1.5 billion rubles were produced (excluding small businesses). In general, this indicator is higher than 2018, but in such sectors as electricity, forestry, woodworking and light industry, the volume of production fell. There are 14 of the 22 enterprises subordinate to the state administration. Four municipal unitary enterprises are in the process of liquidation. In the field of small business, 6132 people are involved (in 2018 there were 4577 of them), the report says.

A large amount of work was carried out last year in the field of improvement and updating of the city infrastructure. At the expense of the local environmental fund, the channels were deepened, the coastal parts of the Balka and Pervomaisky streams were cleaned and landscaped. Water pipe-line was built in the 40 years of the Komsomol park, the parks were reconstructed, and natural dumps were restored. The funds allocated to the city in 2019 from the Capital Investment Fund are almost fully utilized. In the reporting period, the trolleybus line in the Solnechny microdistrict was extended, a center for people with special needs was created, work was done to reconstruct the rowing base, new ones were built and existing playgrounds were equipped.

According to Roman Ivanchenko, in 2019, the Bendery state administration and representatives of the Council of People's Deputies, with the involvement of specialized specialists, examined more than 140 city and rural streets. Based on the results of the audit, acts were drawn up on the technical condition of public roads, which is one of the most acute problems.

Roman Ivanchenko considers the implementation of the Young Family program a successful project. In 2019, four families in Bendery were allocated budget loans at one percent per annum in rubles to improve housing conditions without reference to the exchange rate. The Head of the city mentioned the construction of residential building in Protyagailovskaya street. The fact that orphans in 2019 received 24 apartments was mentioned. According to Roman Ivanchenko, implementation of the affordable housing program for public sector employees will continue in 2020. Several addresses for future apartment buildings are considered.

According to the information voiced by the Head of the city, 637 cultural events and more than three dozen sports were organized in Bendery during the year. They talked at the meeting about improving the infrastructure and material and technical equipment of cultural and sports institutions. The Dolphin swimming pool has been identified as one of the most ambitious facilities. Its recovery cost 11.5 million rubles. More than half of this amount was allocated under the state program from the fund of capital investment, 2.4 million - municipal funds, another three - debt to be paid in the coming year. Improvement of the park named after Gorky deserves special attention. In 2019, a mini-soccer field, recognized as the best in the city, was opened on its territory. The plans include a volleyball court and locker room equipment.

Speaking about the projects that were implemented last year and are still at different stages of implementation, Roman Ivanchenko recalled the construction of the 40 Years of Victory Matsnev-Leningradskaya trolleybus line (route 1A), improvement of the city beach, the reconstruction of Pobeda Park in the Leninsky microdistrict, The hall of the Palace of Culture named after P. Tkachenko, fountain and square 40 years of the Komsomol, as well as the market in Sovetskaya street. Community offices are being repaired in Bendery. The production of paving slabs has been launched.

The Head of the city considers successful the implementation of the idea of creating mobile repair teams. The pilot project was tested at the site of public education department. The group included three dozen skilled workers of various specialties. They served about fifty objects in a year - schools, kindergartens, palace of youth and children creativity.

The only project planned for implementation in 2019, work on which has not begun, is the reconstruction of viaduct and the creation of the entrance gate to Bendery from Tiraspol. The work had to be postponed due to the need to examine the technical condition of the viaduct. The President noted that he supported such forethought. In his opinion, a visual assessment of the state of the bridge is not enough: to ensure the safety of citizens, it is necessary to attract experts who examine the overpass using special equipment and machinery.

Another area of activity of the state administration, which was given attention in the report by Roman Ivanchenko, is work with citizens' appeals. In 2019, 171 people turned to a personal reception for the Head, another three dozen residents of Bendery spoke with the deputy heads. Most of the appeals - 43% - are of a social nature, 33% of questions are related to the work of housing and communal services organizations. According to Roman Ivanchenko, the number of appeals has decreased compared to other years. This is due to the work carried out by employees of the state administration: experts solve many problems by telephone. A large number of issues were removed from the agenda due to timely informing the public. The mayor said that it is planned to attract an additional number of specialists to work with citizens' appeals.

After discussing the report and current issues related to the work of the state administration and the life of the city, the President noted that he positively evaluates its results. Vadim Krasnoselsky called on the city leadership to further consolidate with state authorities and recalled the need to maintain close contacts with Bendery, whose opinion should be fundamental in making decisions. Speaking about infrastructural transformations, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that there was still much to be done. In this regard, it is important not to spread yourself too thin, to observe staging and to correctly prioritize.
