Restoration and improvement works in Wittgenstein Park of Kamenka have been underway since 2020. The source of funding is the Capital Investment Fund. The revival of the leisure and historical site is the initiative of the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky. The President checked the progress today.
The future basketball and volleyball ground in the park is ready for laying rubber coating. Work is underway to create a fountain. A representative of the contractor told the President about the features of processing the future bowls. It is known that four rotating ballerinas will be part of the composition. The mosaic will be interesting. The lighting and sound system has been thought out. The builders expect to complete the project by the end of the year, the launch of the fountain will take place in the new 2025.
They plan to supply water to the park lake in two weeks. They are working on a grotto, pier and artificial stream. Vadim Krasnoselsky asked about the design. The grotto will be faced with local stone. It is also used in other locations. Additional lighting and landscaping of the park were discussed in the course of the off-site meeting. Vadim Krasnoselsky recommended planting more coniferous trees so that the recreational area does not lose its attractiveness in winter. The President was informed that the relevant service hired a professional landscaper – a former employee of the Rashkov forestry.
Vadim Krasnoselsky drew the attention of the head of the Kamenka administration to the need to work in advance with representatives of the business community, who will be enlivening the park with the help of public catering and leisure facilities.
The inspection took place with unexpected musical accompaniment. A video for Victory Day was being recorded at that moment at the Glory Memorial located in Wittgenstein Park. Vadim Krasnoselsky witnessed the execution of his own order by the Pridnestrovian artists.
