While inspecting the Grigoriopol district, the President stopped at the Defenders Square, located in front of the local administration building. This is the central part of the city. Most of the official and cultural events are held here. A complete reconstruction is carried out as a result of the inclusion of the object in the capital investment program. 2340 square meters of area are paved with modern paving slabs. Funds have been allocated from the Capital Investment Fund to clean up the entrance lobby. The entrance is thought out and the entrance to the state administration building for people with limited mobility is specially equipped. A network of utilities is ready to launch a new street lighting system that will decorate the square. The President recalled that such small architectural forms as benches and urns should also be well thought out. It is important to maintain a single style and think over elements and locations, it is imperative to be guided by the demand of society, stressed Vadim Krasnoselsky.
A mini-football field is being built in the city based on numerous appeals from residents of Grigoriopol. The place was chosen in the central part of the citybetween school No.2 and the rollerdrome, taking into account the opinion of the townspeople. In the future, the site will turn into a sports complex. Initially, the football field was planned to be small – 38 by 18 squares. It was decided later to bring the parameters up to international ones - 50 by 30 square meters. This will allow the facility to be used for holding games not only at the local level. The coating will also meet international standards. The natural grass lawn was abandoned due to the instability of climatic conditions; preference was given to artificial one. The field will be fenced off with a four-meter metal mesh. A system for draining water and discharging it into the city-wide storm sewer has been thought out, Vadim Krasnoselsky was told today. Earthworks have been completed at the moment, a drainage system has been created and a clay pad of the base of the field has been rammed. The foundation will be flooded and strengthened with rubble in a couple of weeks, the head of the Grigoriopol administration informed the President. Vadim Krasnoselsky asked about the improvement of the stands and the adjacent territory, as well as related infrastructure.
Concluding the inspection of the object, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that the work must be performed with high quality. It is unacceptable for haste to affect the result, the President emphasized.
