According to the information announced in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President for prevention of the spread of coronavirus, 29059 cases of COVID-19 infection have been registered in the republic since the beginning of the pandemic, 300 of them – within four days that have passed since the previous meeting of the Operational Headquarters. 4 people died, 698 recovered during the same time.
632 patients are being treated in COVID hospitals. 39 of them are in serious condition in intensive care units, six are connected to artificial lung ventilation devices. The workload of specialized hospitals is 35%.
44 people in hospitals are awaiting the results of the study of the biomaterial taken from them. 463 people are being treated at their place of residence. 30 carriers of the virus have been transferred from home treatment to hospital during the past four days, due to the deteriorating health condition. 704 patients have been transferred to hospitals in total, during the practice of treatment at home, which began on the 3d of December. 1457 Pridnestrovian citizens are on self-isolation.
The total number of laboratory tests conducted since the beginning of the pandemic is 133354 (1461 during the last four days). 626 people died (mortality 2%), 27338 Pridnestrovians were able to defeat the disease (94% of the number of cases). The average daily incidence rate in the republic in the reporting period was 75 cases, 90 a week earlier.
