According to the information announced in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President for prevention of the spread of Coronavirus, 6048 Pridnestrovians are currently carriers of COVID-19. 1627 of them are being treated in specialized hospitals. The growing incidence has necessitated the expansion of the hospital network. There are additional hospital beds in infectious diseases hospitals based on the Republican Clinical Hospital (90 beds more), the capital's veterans' hospital (50 beds more), and the Bendery Children's Hospital (where the bed quantity has been increased by 157 hospital beds). Hospital of the Dubossary was expanded by 30 beds, the hospital in Rybnitsa was expanded by 50 beds, and the hospital at the hospital in Vykhvatintsy was doubled from 50 to 100 beds. 251 hospital beds are occupied in the Slobodzeya hospital at the moment, 176 in the Rybnitsa hospital, 120 in the Dubossary hospital, 248 in the Bendery city hospital, 214 on the basis of the Bendery children's hospital, 448 in the coronavirus unit of the Republican Clinical Hospital, and 117 in a hospital based on the hospital of veterans. 14679 biomaterial samples of citizens suspected of having an infection were examined during the week (425776 during the entire time of the pandemic). The fact of the disease in the reporting period was confirmed in 4637 cases. Average daily incidence is 662 (365 a week earlier). 92170 cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded in Pridnestrovie during the coronavirus pandemic totally. 2014 carriers of the virus or 2.2% of the sick persons died (fifteen deaths of the disease in a week), 84108 people or 91.3% of those infected coped with the disease (1675 recovered during the reporting week). 4538 Pridnestrovians are in conditions of mandatory self-isolation.
560 Pridnestrovians completed a full course of vaccination during the reporting period. 137388 people in total or 35.9% of the adult population were vaccinated against COVID-19 in the republic. 5518 people received a booster dose of vaccination from 24 to 30 January, in total 52599 Pridnestrovians underwent revaccination.
