4866 Pridnestrovians are carriers of COVID-19 at the moment, according to the information announced in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President for prevention of the spread of coronavirus. 2556 of them are being treated at home, 2265 are in quarantine hospitals. 91% is the workload of the network of infectious diseases hospitals. 35 patients are citizens in places of confinement (through the State Penitentiary Service, 430 cases of infection were registered totally, 395 prisoners recovered).
129 people were transferred from home to hospital treatment due to the deteriorating health condition, in the period from March 25 to March 28. According to statistics, the number of citizens who are tolerate coronavirus is 420 people hardly, or 19% of the total number of hospitalized, 62 are patients in intensive care units, 17 are connected to artificial lung ventilation devices. 69 people are awaiting the results of the study of biomaterial samples in hospitals. 3335 Pridnestrovians are in self-isolation at home.
5386 samples were examined during four days (177658 for the entire time of the pandemic). The fact of the disease in the reporting period was confirmed in 1513 cases. In total, 40064 cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded in Pridnestrovie during the coronavirus pandemic. 871 carriers of the virus (more than 2% of cases) died, 34327 people (86%) coped with the disease.
To date, the activities of one preschool educational institution have been suspended, and 57 groups in 13 kindergartens have been quarantined.
