According to the information announced in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President for prevention of the spread of coronavirus, 731 Pridnestrovians are carriers of COVID-19 at the moment. 296 of them are being treated at home, 425 – in infectious diseases hospitals. The hospital network load is 27%. In connection with the deterioration of health in the period from 17 to 24 May, 100 carriers of the virus were transferred from home to hospital treatment. 119 people, or 28% of the total number of citizens hospitalized at the moment, are hard to tolerate the coronavirus, 26 are patients in intensive care units, 4 are connected to artificial lung ventilation devices. 10 cases – these are citizens in places of imprisonment. 49 people are waiting in hospital conditions to receive the results of the study of biomaterial samples. 270 Pridnestrovians are in self-isolation at home.
2561 samples were examined during the week (221079 during the entire time of the pandemic). The fact of the disease in the reporting period was confirmed in 328 cases. The average daily incidence is 47 cases. 49048 cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded in Pridnestrovie in total during the coronavirus pandemic. 1181 carriers of the virus died (2.4% of cases), 47136 people (96%) coped with the disease.
3598 Pridnestrovians were vaccinated with the “AstraZeneca” vaccine, 21161 with the “Sputnik V” first component.
