3307 Pridnestrovians are carriers of COVID-19 at the moment according to the information announced in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President for prevention of the spread of coronavirus. 1327 of them are being treated at home, 1885 in coronavirus hospitals. 92 people were transferred from home to hospital treatment due to the deteriorating state of health, in the period from 15 to 18 April. The workload of the network of infectious diseases hospitals is 76%. 95 are citizens who are in places of imprisonment. The number of citizens who are hard to tolerate the coronavirus is 391 people, or 21% of the total number of hospitalized people, 60 are patients in intensive care units, 17 are connected to artificial lung ventilation devices. 1769 Pridnestrovians are in self-isolation at home. 81 people are waiting for test results in hospitals.
3816 samples were examined during four days (201222 during the entire period of the pandemic). The fact of the disease in the reporting period was confirmed in 835 cases. The average daily incidence during this time was 209 cases, which is less than the previous reporting period, when the average daily incidence was 239 people. 45957 cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded in Pridnestrovie during the coronavirus pandemic in total. 1050 carriers of the virus (more than 2.3% of cases) died, 41600 people (90%) coped with the disease. 1635 people were vaccinated against coronavirus as part of the vaccination campaign in Pridnestrovie.
