The number of detected cases of COVID-19 infection among Pridnestrovians has increased to 30429 since the beginning of the pandemic, according to the information announced in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President. 665 deaths were recorded (2% of the number of cases). 28776 people recovered.
524 patients are being treated in quarantine hospitals, 20 of them are in serious condition, two are connected to artificial lung ventilation devices. Profile hospitals are loaded by 30%.
51 people with suspected infection are awaiting the results of laboratory tests in hospital conditions. Another 290 residents of the republic are being treated at home. 10 people were transferred from home to hospital treatment due to deteriorating health conditions from 15 to 17 February.
The President was informed about the epidemiological situation in places of detention. The state service for the execution of punishment revealed 282 cases of infection in total (28 - during the past three days). 104 people recovered. Four of those previously ill were released. To date, 174 convicts are undergoing treatment in the hospital, deployed in the institution of the state service for the execution of punishment.
1341 samples of biomaterials were examined during the three days that have passed since the previous meeting of the Operational Headquarters, (141564 in total during the pandemic). The fact of infection with COVID-19 was confirmed in 248 cases. 7 people died, 330 recovered during the same time.
The average daily incidence rate in the republic in the reporting period was 83 cases, 85 last week. 1378 people are on controlled self-isolation.
