According to the information announced in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President for prevention of the spread of coronavirus, 941 Pridnestrovians are carriers of COVID-19 at the moment. 367 of them are being treated at home, 540 – in infectious diseases hospitals. The hospital network load is 35%. Due to the deteriorating state of health, 58 people were transferred from home to hospital treatment in the period from 13 to 16 May. It is hard to bear the coronavirus disease for 150 people, or 28% of the total number of citizens currently hospitalized, 27 are patients in intensive care units, 7 are connected to artificial lung ventilation devices. There are still sick people among people in places of deprivation of liberty. 59 people are waiting in hospital conditions to receive the results of the study of biomaterial samples. 331 Pridnestrovians are in self-isolation at home.
2395 samples were examined during four days (218518 during the entire time of the pandemic). The fact of the disease in the reporting period was confirmed in 222 cases. The average daily incidence has been reduced to 56 cases (a week earlier – 78). In total, 48720 cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded in Pridnestrovie during the coronavirus pandemic. Mortality among carriers of COVID-19 is 2.4%, 96% of cases coped with the disease.
2891 Pridnestrovians were vaccinated with "AstraZeneca" vaccine, 8748 – with the "Sputnik V" first component.
