3532 Pridnestrovians are carriers of COVID-19 at the moment according to the information announced at the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President for prevention of the spread of coronavirus. 1540 of them are being treated at home, 1942 are in infectious diseases hospitals. 138 people were transferred from home to hospital treatment due to the deterioration of their health in the period from 12 to 14 April. 20% of hospitalized people (392 people) have a hard time tolerating coronavirus, 58 patients are in intensive care units, 13 patients are connected to artificial lung ventilation devices. The workload of the network of infectious diseases hospitals is 78%. 50 cases are persons who are in places of imprisonment. 2226 Pridnestrovians are in self-isolation at their place of residence.
2908 samples of the biomaterial of citizens with suspicion of the presence of coronavirus infection in the body were examined from 12 to 14 April (197406 samples were taken during the entire time of the pandemic). The fact of the disease in the reporting period was confirmed in 717 cases. The average daily incidence is 239 cases, it was 260 facts per day during the previous reporting period. Coupled with concomitant diseases the coronavirus cut off 38 lives during the three reporting days, and 1118 people successfully completed treatment. 45122 cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded in Pridnestrovie totally during the pandemic. 1027 carriers of the virus (more than 2.3% of cases) died, 40563 people (almost 90%) coped with the disease.
1367 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 during the vaccination campaign in Pridnestrovie.
