According to the information announced in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President for prevention of the spread of coronavirus, 6124 Pridnestrovians are carriers of COVID-19 at the moment. 1472 of them are being treated in specialized hospitals. 194 hospital beds are occupied in the hospital of Slobodzeya at the moment, 178 in the hospital of Rybnitsa, 140 in the hospital of Dubossary, 228 in the city hospital of Bendery, 133 on the basis of the children's hospital in Bendery, 358 in the coronavirus unit of the Republican Clinical Hospital, 114 in a specialized hospital at on the site of the veterans hospital, 16 on the basis of the Tirotex dispensary. 27 infected patients receive medical care in the COVID isolation of the psychiatric hospital in the village of Vykhvatintsy. Inpatient treatment of coronavirus carriers is also organized in the House of Veterans of Pervomaisk. 15 people are undergoing treatment there, 10 more have been hospitalized in the Slobodzeya hospital. Three cases of infection were detected among prisoners: a second-level hospital was deployed on the basis of penitentiary institution number 3. The workload of the network of coronavirus hospitals is 72%. 264 people are severely enduring coronavirus – 18% of the total number of hospitalized, 40 are patients in intensive care units, four are connected to artificial lung ventilation devices. 4619 Pridnestrovians are being treated at home. In the period from the 7th of February to the 13th of February, 165 such patients needed hospitalization. The number of children infected with coronavirus is 83 people (126 minors were sick a week earlier).
During the week, 12,639 samples of biomaterial of citizens suspected of having an infection were examined (for the entire time of the pandemic - 455,117). The fact of the disease in the reporting period was confirmed in 4422 cases. Average daily incidence is 632 (809 a week earlier). 102255 cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded in Pridnestrovie during the coronavirus pandemic totally. 2054 carriers of the virus - 2% of the sick – died (twenty-two deaths of the disease in a week), 94077 people – 92% of those infected – coped with the disease (3543 recovered during the reporting week). 4649 Pridnestrovians are in conditions of mandatory self-isolation.
Considering that the workload of the network of COVID hospitals has waned, it was decided to close the hospital based on the Tirotex dispensary. Nine units continue to function. The total bed fund is designed for 2057 patients.
1184 Pridnestrovians completed a full course of vaccination during the reporting period. 139672 people in total, or 36.5% of the adult population, were vaccinated against COVID-19 in the republic. 7788 people received a booster dose of a protective and prophylactic vaccine from February 7 to February 13, a total of 65389 revaccination courses were carried out.
The President asked about the availability of a vaccine, it is in abundance now from different manufacturers. Each medical institution is provided with refrigeration equipment suitable for storing medicines. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that everyone should be given the opportunity to get vaccinated, including residents of remote settlements. The President instructed to intensify work in this direction. Vaccination marathons for rural residents will continue. The heads of state administrations - they run the local Operational Headquarters – have been instructed to take special control over the issue of creating conditions for conducting on-site vaccinations or centralized delivery of citizens to the place of its implementation in other settlements.
