The number of detected cases of COVID-19 infection among Pridnestrovians has increased to 31638 according to the information announced in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President since the beginning of the pandemic. 689 deaths have been recorded (2% of the number of cases). 29637 people recovered (94%).
741 patients are being treated in quarantine hospitals at the moment, 24 of whom are in serious condition, two are connected to artificial lung ventilations. Specialized hospitals are loaded by 43%. 66 people with suspected infection are awaiting test results in a hospital setting. Another 489 Pridnestrovians are being treated at home. 19 people were transferred from home to hospital treatment due to deteriorating health conditions from February 25 to March 1.
3434 samples of biomaterials were examined during the four days that have passed since the previous meeting of the Operational Headquarters (147633during the pandemic totally). The fact of infection with COVID-19 was confirmed in 739 cases. 9 people died during the same period of time, 454 defeated the disease.
The average daily incidence rate in the republic in the reporting period amounted to 185 cases, 67 last week. 1384 people are on controlled self-isolation.
