1655 Pridnestrovians are carriers of COVID-19 at the moment according to the information announced in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President for prevention of the spread of coronavirus. 700 of them are being treated at home, 823 in coronavirus hospitals. The workload of the network of infectious diseases hospitals is 38%. 88 people were transferred from home to hospital treatment due to their health deterioration in the period from the 29th of April till the 5th of May. According to statistics, the number of citizens who are hard to tolerate the coronavirus is 220 people, or almost 27% of the total number of hospitalized patients. 28 patients are in intensive care units, five are connected to artificial lung ventilation devices. 132 patients are in places of imprisonment.
54 people are awaiting the results of the study of biomaterial samples in hospital conditions. 695 Pridnestrovians are in self-isolation at home.
3238 samples were examined during the week (212731 during the entire period of the pandemic). The fact of the disease in the reporting period was confirmed in 555 cases. The average daily incidence during this time was 79 cases. 47953 cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded in Pridnestrovie in total during the coronavirus pandemic. 1134 carriers of the virus (2.4% of cases) died, 45164 people (94%) coped with the disease.
3020 Pridnestrovians were vaccinated with the first dose of Pfizer and AstraZeneca, 900 citizens were vaccinated with the second component. Sputnik V vaccination campaign starts today.
