According to the information announced in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President for prevention of the spread of coronavirus, 227 Pridnestrovians are carriers of COVID-19 at the moment. 62 of them are being treated at home, 165 – in two infectious diseases hospitals, the total workload of which is 45%. Due to the deteriorating state of health 21 carriers of the virus were transferred from home to hospital treatment in the period from the 28th of June till the 4th of July. The coronavirus disease is hard to bear for 43 people or 26% of the total number of hospitalized at the moment citizens, 8 are patients in intensive care units, one is connected to artificial lung ventilation device. 103 Pridnestrovians are in self-isolation at home.
2992 samples of the biomaterial of citizens with suspicion of infection were examined during the week (237639 during the entire time of the pandemic). The fact of the disease in the reporting period was confirmed in 153 cases. The average daily incidence remained at the level of the previous week – 22 cases. In total, 49974 cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded in Pridnestrovie during the coronavirus pandemic. 1224 carriers of the virus (2.4% of cases) died, 48523 people (97% of those infected) coped with the disease.
39283 Pridnestrovians were vaccinated with the first component of "Sputnik V", 29988 people received both doses of this vaccine. 5363 people underwent the first stage of vaccination with "AstraZeneca", 2937 – completed the course. 6203 residents of the republic were vaccinated with the first dose of "Pfizer", 5246 completed vaccination with this vaccine. The first dose of Sinopharm was received by 8759 people, and Sinovac vaccine by 7079 people.
