The President in the course of the working meeting was informed about the activities aimed at combating the consequences of the snowfall. The Minister of the PMR Internal Affairs said that 1758 workers of the housing and communal services have been involved in this work in the whole republic over the past three days, 206 units of equipment are at their disposal, as well as 102 specialists of the rescue service of the Main Directorate for Emergency Situations and 24 specially equipped car. 170 vehicles were freed from the snow captivity during this time: 127 passenger cars, 37 trucks, 3 minibuses and the same number of ambulances. 31 Pridnestrovians used the services of heating points. 33 accidents were registered in the reporting period. 91 people applied to emergency rooms. 3000 tons of sand and salt mixture was consumed to ensure greater safety on the Pridnestrovian roads during the icy period.
