The full report on the results of the activities of the State Administration of Bendery for 2018 is in a 184-page document. Roman Ivanchenko during the meeting voiced the most significant achievements and future plans at the site of the PMR Presidential Administration.
According to the Head, population of Bendery is 89282 people. Revenues of the town are insignificant (by 5.3%), but increased compared to 2017 and amounted to 238.9 million rubles. Almost the same amount is in the expenditure side of the budget. The development of funds for a targeted program for the overhaul of the housing stock, social and cultural facilities and city improvement was productively implemented. We are talking about the amount of 5.3 million rubles. The Stadium in Bendery has been restored by this money, the first stage of the basin reconstruction has been completed, and work is underway to bring the cultural centre named after Tkachenko in proper condition. Thanks to the municipal capital investment program, a new trolleybus line has been opened. From the same source, works on the breakdown of the public garden in the neighborhood "Borisovka" were partly funded. Funds were allocated from the environmental fund. It was possible to upgrade the special equipment of the municipal unitary enterprise "Directorate of recreation parks". A serious amount of work was carried out on 26 socially significant objects within the framework of the republican capital investment program: about 20 thousand square meters of roof were renewed, almost seven hundred windows and 140 doors were replaced. Special attention should be paid to the reconstruction of sport rooms of training center for people with special needs. We managed to close many problematic issues at the expense of funds allocated last year according to the program of fulfilling the orders of voters: internal passages were repaired, pedestrian sidewalks, children's and sports grounds were repaired, a new public garden along Timiryazev Street was laid out. The funds that Bendery received thanks to the victory in the competition “The Greenest and Cleanest City”, were also sent to beautification and gardening.
One of the most notable and discussed achievements of last year was the opening of the Alexander Nevsky Park. The work on its territory and around the park area continues, the object has already confirmed its social and tourist significance. Festivals, concerts, folk festivals were organized on this site attracted tens of thousands of Bendery residents and city guests. 25 events have been already planned for 2019 - music, youth, children, Orthodox. The President, noting that the Bendery fortress and the adjacent park are the property and pride of the entire republic, recalled that the burden of organizational responsibility is on the shoulders of the State Administration of Bendery. At the same time, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that, until now, inhabitants of Bendery had done an excellent job with the tasks assigned to them, which indicates a good human potential. As a task for the future, the necessity of organizing parking spaces for the duration of public events is indicated.
Speaking about the business environment, Roman Ivanchenko drew attention to the gradual increase in a number of patents (in 2016 there were 3.127 registered, in 2017 – 3.289, in 2018 – 3.897). Large business projects were launched last year. The Old Bastion Hotel and Restaurant Complex was opened, CJSC “Bendery Textile Weaving Factory” started its work, LLC “Protyagaylovskiye sausages” launched a new workshop. The Head of Bendery told about the activities of numerous municipal unitary enterprises and municipal institutions, identifying achievements and problems, faced by enterprises. For example, the mechanism and schedule of the treatment and prevention center was changed. The equipment was updated here, the “salt mine” was equipped and an infrared cabin was installed, and most importantly, available to citizens medical facility was made. Now the center is open to all comers, not only on weekdays, but also on Saturdays, which significantly increased the flow of visitors. The Head focused of the BTV work. The expansion of the audience confirms the feasibility of the preservation and development of the local TV channel, Roman Ivanchenko supposes. He was supported by the President, noting that experienced journalists and technical workers should not leave, decent working conditions should be created for them.
The Head of the State Administration of Bendery mentioned the educational sphere, saying that last year the gyms of city schools were equipped with tennis tables, provided with gymnastic mats and other sports equipment. Office equipment and furniture was updated. They invested in the infrastructure and improvement of the technical base of cultural and sports facilities. Roman Ivanchenko emphasized the main directions of social support of citizens. He informed about the allocation of four young families of budget loans for the purchase of housing. He reported on the interaction of state administration with public organizations, as well as how to work with citizens.
According to Roman Ivanchenko, 302 receptions were conducted in a year by him, 126 by his deputies. An important aspect is considered by the mayor to abandon the practice of making office decisions: every fifth appeal requires addressing the situation and presence. If we talk about the problems that come to the administration, in a third of cases, residents of Bendery asked to provide material assistance, almost as many complaints are connected with housing and communal services, there are many appeals about improving housing conditions and related to architecture. By the way, it was to the last direction that the most complaints from citizens were regarding the timing and quality of the consideration of applications. In general, the problems of documentation, and bureaucracy are a thing of the past, told parliamentarians from Bendery, invited to the meeting. Deputies of the Supreme Council noted the openness of the current of the State Administration of Bendery to the dialogue, the high level of interaction and the desire to work for the result.
As for the plans for the current year: they are presented in the form of real projects, the implementation of which in some cases has already begun. The talk is about the construction of a trolleybus line through “40 years of Victory-Matsnev-Leningradskaya” route, the completion of the repair of the pool “Dolphin”, the arrangement of a city beach and a recreation area on the Dniester River, reconstruction of two parks — the Pobeda (Victory) and the Gorky. In addition, it is planned to bring in proper condition the auditorium of the cultural centre named after Tkachenko, to finish a building on Protyagaylovskaya Street, to repair the premises of defended post and to modernize the universal market in Sovetskaya Street. There are other promising developments that the head of Bendery shared with the participants of the meeting under the President. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that he would support any initiative aimed at improving the lives of people. The President addressed a number of current issues to the speaker, gave some recommendations, set new tasks. In general, according to the President, the State Administration of Bendery successfully copes with responsibilities.
