An international youth festival was held in Yekaterinburg from September 11 to 17. It brought together 10000 participants from 191 countries. There were far more applicants than spots available; organizers received around 115000 applications, two-thirds of which came from abroad. Nearly fifty young people aged 14 to 35 from Pridnestrovie also visited the Ural capital. Taking into consideration the packed schedule and the variety of festival venues, the young people organized themselves into five interest-based groups: volunteering, science and education, ecology, media and journalism, and a worldview-focused track. The Pridnestrovian participants of the festival and their group leaders gathered today in the conference hall of the PMR Presidential Administration to share their impressions with the President.
Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized in his welcoming remarks his deep respect for young people, viewing them as a true reflection of society. Speaking about the festival, the President noted, "You went there seeking emotions and experience—experience that you could then pass on to us, the leadership".
The young people spoke about specific events, situations, forms of interaction, and new acquaintances. They returned not only with impressions and knowledge but also with concrete proposals, such as the creation of a youth center. They discussed the center's essence, purpose, and intended areas of activity with the President. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that the opinions, needs, and initiatives of young people are important to him.
The discussion participants exchanged gifts. The President was presented with the festival’s mascot, a plush Cheburashka toy. Vadim Krasnoselsky presented each guest with the two-volume set *The Best Places of Pridnestrovie Golden Collection.*, encouraging them to get to know their country even better so that they would be able to share that knowledge with others. Vadim Krasnoselsky at the conclusion of the hour-and-a-half-long meeting thanked the young people and their accompanying teachers, as well as the heads of Tiraspol and Bendery state administrations, for their initiative. ""I believe in the youth. Hence, I believe in the future", the President concluded.
