In the course of the video conference the Heads of state administrations informed the President about the situation in the cities and districts of the republic. The interlocutors discussed current working issues, outlined work plans for the near future. Vadim Krasnoselsky drew particular attention to the situation that has arisen in connection with the amendment of the law establishing the minimum wage. It is about getting some employees of the education system and the healthcare sector wages less than before. Legislative amendments should not cause reduction in income among teachers and doctors, emphasized during the meeting Vadim Krasnoselsky. The Government was instructed already in December to compensate the difference to the state employees.
The participants of the conference spoke of readiness for the coming cold weather. They focused on the topic of improvement of settlements. Repair and construction work at social infrastructure facilities should not stop due to changes in temperature conditions: with a reasonable organization of work and a professional approach, there should be no delays, the President emphasized. He asked the Heads about the progress in the construction of specific facilities included in the capital investment program, giving a number of ongoing assignments.
Vadim Krasnoselsky urged the Heads to pay special attention to landscaping. The President considers it appropriate to give preference to coniferous plantations that are well adapted and take root in the Pridnestrovian climate when laying new and updating existing parks and alleys, without requiring increased attention and abundant watering. In addition, evergreens revitalize the appearance of settlements even in the winter, when trees and shrubs dump foliage. In this case, excesses are unacceptable: the combination of deciduous and coniferous plantings should be harmonious, Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized.
The PMR President recalled that an expanded meeting will be held tomorrow at the Presidential Executive Office. Not only the Heads of cities and districts were invited to the discussion, but also the leaders of the PMR Government and the Supreme Council. It is planned to discuss the draft budget and capital investment program for 2020. The Heads of administrations will have to argue their proposals on the formation of a list of objects that will be repaired due to the fund of capital investment.
