The armed forces of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic celebrate their 30th anniversary today. The opening of the reconstructed Training Center of the Ministry of Defense of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic was timed to coincide with the anniversary date. Funds for putting in order the army infrastructure and the material and technical equipment of military units were allocated through the Capital Investment Fund. This is the task set by the Commander-in-Chief. Vadim Krasnoselsky took part in the opening ceremony of the facility today. Addressing the participants of the solemn event, the President noted that since 2017 a lot has been done to improve the conditions for military service, but the forthcoming volume of work is also great. According to Vadim Krasnoselsky, financing of this direction will be increased next year on his behalf.
The PMR President presented certificates and letters of gratitude to servicemen and representatives of construction organizations who took an active part in the reconstruction of the Training Center, on the basis of which the "C" category drivers and drivers-mechanics of armored personnel carriers are trained. The President personally examined the renovated or newly built and equipped locations. Among them there is a fleet of vehicles, a tactical field for driving training (autodrome), classrooms and related infrastructure. The canteen was put into operation at the end of last year.
The commander-in-chief assessed the transformation satisfactorily. They discussed further plans to update the material and technical base of the PMR Armed Forces with the Minister of Defense and other participants of the event.
