The Russian delegation arrived in Pridnestrovie to participate in the International Cultural and Humanitarian Forum “Iasi-Chisinau Operation. Forever in the memory of the people”. Today, the guests visited the Kitskansky bridgehead, where in the morning there was a large-scale event dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Pridnestrovie from Nazi invaders. Pridnestrovian-Russian communication continued at the Presidential Executive Office. Welcoming the guests, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that participation of Russians in various events, especially those related to history in general and the Great Patriotic War in particular is important and valuable for Pridnestrovie. Speaking about today's meeting, which brought together representatives of several generations at the Kitskansky bridgehead, the PMR President emphasized that each patriotic event is an important event for Pridnestrovians. The interlocutors noted the interest of youth. Vadim Krasnoselsky said that in the republic there are various movements uniting young patriots. They talked about the fact that the victories of the Russian soldier of all time are honored in Pridnestrovie. Great commanders who left their mark in the history of the region were mentioned. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that respect for a Russian soldier as a keeper of peace has been laid down since childhood and is the norm, including legislative (criminal liability has been introduced in the republic for denying the positive role of Russian peacekeeping on the Dniester).
The Russian guests, in turn, noted the high level of organization of the event and the spirit of patriotism inherent in the Pridnestrovian society that according to the confidant of the RF president Natalia Narochnitskaya, the Russians are charged when they come to the republic.
A letter was sent to Vadim Krasnoselsky from Natalia Malinovskaya, the daughter of Rodion Malinovsky, the Marshal of the Soviet Union. Public figure, author of numerous publications, she heads the Foundation "Society for the Memory of the Warriors of the Russian Expeditionary Force (1916-1918)".
The interlocutors in the course of the meeting exchanged views on a number of topical issues, and discussed the prospects for further cooperation. Round table on Pridnestrovie at the site of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation was voiced among the proposals.
