Vadim Krasnoselsky addressed Moldovan officials

Vadim Krasnoselsky in the course of the meeting under the PMR President with participation of a large circle of Pridnestrovian officials responded to the public statements of Moldovan officials.

“On Friday I got acquainted with the interview of the political representative of Moldova Mr. Kulminsky, where he talks about the fact that, it turns out, the people of Pridnestrovie have long wanted to enter Moldova, live together, the people are tired of restrictions and so on. I agree only with the fact that the people are tired of the restrictions – which Moldova has introduced to us. I want to remind Mr. Kulminsky of the course of events. He is a new person, probably does not have the full amount of information regarding our relations with Moldova.

Let me remind that it was Moldova that destroyed the statehood of the Moldavian SSR, the territorial integrity of the Moldavian SSR with its 1991 Declaration of Independence. It was this Declaration that declared the creation of the Moldavian SSR illegal. In addition, Moldova has undertaken an obligation to eliminate all legal consequences of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, and this is actually rejection of Pridnestrovie. Pridnestrovie has never suffered from separatism. The separatists are those who made the decision to destroy the territorial integrity of the Moldavian SSR. This is the first thing.

Second. It was the terrorist groups that were sent by the special services of Moldova to Pridnestrovie that killed our peaceful people. We are talking about the "Buzhor" group and the well-known members of this group - terrorists. They killed defenseless people with a bullet in the back of the head, burned half-dead in cars. This is also a fact. Of course, people may not just "get tired" of this. And then, in 1992, Moldova committed genocide of the Pridnestrovian people, using armed forces against the civilian population in Dubossary and especially in Bendery. This is also a fact. The fact remains that no one answered for the terrorist attacks, for the invasion, for the genocide of the Pridnestrovian people.

Then there were long political debates and negotiations. Pridnestrovie offered options for joint "residence": a federation, an asymmetric federation - there were corresponding plans. It was Moldova that got up from the negotiating table and left at the moment of signing these agreements. This is also a fact. Then there were various blockades that continue to this day. This is also a fact.

If we talk about September 1, of course, you can blame everything on the Ukrainian side, but if Moldova had fulfilled the earlier assumed obligations signed by them (Berlin + and the Protocol of April 24, 2018), these problems would not exist, Ukraine would not impose restrictions. Everything would work according to previously signed agreements. This is also a fact. The problem is that they are not going to sign anything or perform anything else. Unfortunately. The Moldovan side had three options for choosing behavior: to stay in the same political swamp, which got it, to aggravate the situation, or to pragmatically solve the issues on which people's lives depend - either on the left or on the right banks of the Dniester. Unfortunately, to my great regret, I see that the first position has been chosen - to remain in the same political swamp, and, as a result, to aggravate the situation. This is also a fact today.

As for the opinion of the Pridnestrovian people, they are usually asked at referendums. Not a single referendum has been held in Moldova in its entire history. But in Pridnestrovie we are not afraid of this, all important issues are resolved in referendums, of which there were six - from the moment of the formation of our republic to the referendum in 2006, during which the people almost unanimously spoke about the independence of Pridnestrovie with subsequent entry into the Russian Federation. The main thing is independence, this is the basis. There will be further integration with Russia after independence. This is also a fact. We ask the opinion of the people and are not ashamed of it.

Therefore, I propose to the Moldovan side to stop this idle chatter and rallies on television, and to resolve practical issues. Not a single meeting, not a single interview can replace live communication. If, of course, there is a desire to solve the problems from which the Pridnestrovian people suffer. The Pridnestrovian people know perfectly well who is the author of these problems”, - noted the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky.
