The Pridnestrovian delegation took part in the World Youth Festival, which took place in Russia. The Republic delegated fifty people. The main program of the festival took place in Sochi from March 1 to 7, followed by regional sections from March 10 to 17. Pridnestrovians took part in the opening and closing ceremonies of the festival, the march of the world's youth, and clearly expressed themselves at a variety of venues. They shared today their impressions brought home with Vadim Krasnoselsky. The meeting initiated by the PMR President took place in the conference hall of the presidential executive office. Welcoming the guests, Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized the significance of the fact that our youth were declared as an independent delegation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. Although the organizing committee did not consider our group as an independent initially. These issues were resolved only in January, so preparations were carried out in a short time, noted the head of the delegation, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexander Stetsyuk. Vadim Krasnoselsky asked if there were any difficulties along the way. According to Alexander Stetsyuk, all members of the delegation reached both ends without any difficulties.
The festival is first of all an international exchange, they said in the course of the meeting. Representatives from 188 countries of the world took part in it – about 20 thousand persons. Pridnestrovians say that many foreigners know about the republic, its multinational composition and the presence of three official languages, and they single out the Pridnestrovian flag from the general variety of colors. They asked with interest and concern about the situation in the republic and abroad.
The President was told about specific events in which they had the opportunity to participate, interesting places that were visited, and people with whom they were lucky to meet, communicate, and make contacts.
Proposals and questions were addressed to the President during the discussion of the trip. For example, a representative of the Pridnestrovian Ministry of Education Galina Ratushnyak proposed creating a republican Youth House. Vadim Krasnoselsky considered the idea as such worthy of attention and noted that he was waiting for a specific project. After listening to the impressions of a resident of Kamenka Anastasia Gnatyshina from visiting Yekaterinburg, the President said that the city is forever connected with Bendery. Hundreds of soldiers of the Yekaterinburg infantry regiment are buried on the territory of the Military Historical Memorial Complex. Their names are carved on a separate slab. Veronica Tazova, representing the PMR Ministry of Finance, asked Vadim Krasnoselsky about fundamental leadership qualities. The President included honesty, consistency, systematic approach, and fairness among them. He emphasized that one should not deliberately strive for management: artificiality leads to rejection, success is possible only with harmonious development and work on yourself.
The interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues directly and indirectly related to the participation of Pridnestrovian children in the international festival. The youth thanked for the opportunity, the President - for representing the republic with dignity and being active participants in public diplomacy. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that in youth there should be a minimum of politics and a maximum of emotions. The path of life is measured by the emotions experienced, and not by the inhalations and exhalations taken, in the opinion of the PMR President.
