The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky attended the opening ceremony of the sports hall. He congratulated the railway workers on their professional holiday, which they will celebrate on August 4, as well as on the 15th anniversary of the Pridnestrovian Railway. The President recalled that the process of forming an enterprise was not easy. “There was no team, leader, material base. In fact, with pure enthusiasm, the first workers moved the locomotive of your history forward. And for 15 years now, Pridnestrovian Railway has been moving along the rails in the right direction: a large team, good economic performance. And the fact that today a gym is opening on the territory of the railway depot is symbolic. The company thinks not only about its economy, production, but also about the development and future of our republic. It is probably impossible to imagine the future of the state without the development of sports, culture, popularization of history”, said Vadim Krasnoselsky.
The general director of the Pridnestrovian Railway State Public Institution Yury Oleynik, in turn, thanked all the employees of the enterprise who took part in the construction of the sports hall. He expressed the hope that this opening would create additional opportunities for the recovery of the team.
Yuri Oleinik told the President that the repair and equipping of the hall with simulators and sports equipment was carried out by the enterprise. A part of the equipment was made by the railroad workers themselves. There are training in weightlifting, martial arts, wrestling and kickboxing. Vadim Krasnoselsky praised the level of equipment of the gym and noted that the experience of the Pridnestrovian Railroad will be useful to other enterprises.
In the course of communication with the management and staff of the State Unitary Enterprise, the President was interested in what the enterprise lives today and, in particular, the personnel situation. Yuri Oleinik stated that the staff of the railway is mainly mature. At the same time, the company is actively working to attract young personnel. Workers are trained on their own in certain specialties. In specialties requiring special training, they are sent to study in a specialized Moscow university. Vadim Krasnoselsky drew attention of the enterprise management to the possibilities of a dual training system. “On the basis of our educational institutions, you can train middle-level workers in technical specialties. It will be easier, because theories will be taught there, and you will give only practice. The combination of theory and practice will give its result - young people will come to the enterprise”, said the President.
