The Krasnoselskys were one of the first visitors to "The Liberation of Europe" photo exhibition

"The Liberation of Europe" photo exhibition was organized on the territory of the Bendery Fortress on the eve of the 77th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945. The black-and-white cards depict military operations, the faces of people who survived the horror of war and joyfully welcome the Victory spring, the return of European cities to peaceful life. The presented exposition is a photo chronicle of the contribution of the Soviet soldier to the deliverance of Europe from fascism. Archival materials were collected and prepared by representatives of such organizations as the Russian House in Chisinau, Russia Today International Information Agency and Sputnik Moldova news agency. Assistance in the implementation of the project was provided by Rossotrudnichestvo.

The exposition for Pridnestrovians and guests of the republic was located in the exhibition hall of the Alexander Nevsky Park. The opening was attended by the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and his wife. Vadim Krasnoselsky called the exhibition significant and timely, emphasizing that today it is important to voice the historical truth, present true facts, make archives public, and show chronicles of the tragic events of the middle of the last century when history is being distorted and rewritten, when heroes are being slandered and criminals are being exalted. Vadim Krasnoselsky compared two wars – the First and Second World Wars, noting that the same states took part in both and the losses among the civilian population were incomparable in fact. Vadim Krasnoselsky is sure that this is due to the destructive fascist-Nazi ideology of the countries of the Hitlerite "axis", characteristic of the Second World War. He recalled that many European states turned into killing grounds under the yoke of fascism and Europe was delivered from the suffocating Nazism only thanks to the Soviet army with the assistance of its allies. The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic expressed his gratitude to the authors and organizers of the exhibition.

Vadim Krasnoselsky congratulated everyone on the upcoming Victory Day, addressing words of gratitude to the veterans.

The PMR President talked with Yuri Ilyashenko, the Head of the Bendery public organization uniting war, labor and armed forces veterans.

The Krasnoselskys exchanged greetings and congratulations in the Alexander Nevsky Park with the participants of the bike ride dedicated to the 77th anniversary of the Great Victory.
