98 carriers of COVID-19 are treated (there were 130 a week ago) in two infectious hospitals in Pridnestrovie. Three Pridnestrovians with confirmed coronavirus are in a hospital setting in medical institutions of Moldova. 58 citizens of Pridnestrovie await in the conditions of medical isolation the results of research on biomaterial samples. 1329 COVID cases were recorded (distribution rate - 0.8%) during the pandemic in Pridnestrovie. 50 carriers of the virus died in 4 months of the coronavirus (mortality - 3.8%), 1,140 people recovered (86%). This information was announced at today's meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the PMR President the prevention of the spread of coronavirus. More than six hundred bioassays were studied under laboratory conditions in the three days that have passed since the previous meeting. The presence of the virus was detected in 27 cases. 16730 samples were sent to the COVID laboratory during the entire period of the fight against coronavirus. As a preventative measure, several tens of thousands of rapid tests were done. Vadim Krasnoselsky, emphasizing the effectiveness of mass rapid testing confirmed by practice, noted that the republic would continue along this path, but at the same time called for prudent use of materials. According to the President, another delivery of express tests in the amount of 30000 units is expected in the near future.
Last week, the staff of pre-school educational institutions, scheduled to open from July 20, were tested. Approximately 500 people were checked for coronavirus. In the coming days, testing of kindergarten employees will continue. Three institutions in Tiraspol and Bendery are preparing to receive children. In other cities, so far they will resume their activity in one garden. Dubossary is an exception. The audit showed that there institutions are not ready for the safe reception of preschool children. Kindergartens will be constantly inspected by members of the interdepartmental commission created on behalf of the President after the opening.

As for those who still prefer tourist trips outside the PMR, then upon returning to their homeland, these citizens will be required to make the COVID-19 test. This service is included in the list of paid. It costs approximately 440 rubles. Individuals traveling abroad in the direction of countries requiring a certificate of passing such a test will also be able to take advantage of laboratory testing at their own expense.

According to the chief public health physician of Pridnestrovie Natalia Beril, almost half of the PMR citizens infected with the coronavirus had confirmed direct contact with the carrier COVID-19.
