The President held a meeting via videoconference with the leaders of the Government, the Supreme Council and state administrations of towns and regions of the republic. They discussed the current state of affairs, including progress in repair and construction work by means of the Capital Investment Fund. Work is progressing according to schedule in general, most of the objects included in the program have been completed. Vadim Krasnoselsky focused on the timeliness of the repair and equipping of educational institutions, emphasizing that readiness should be one hundred percent by the beginning of the academic year. They touched upon issues related to the financing of work. It was about a mechanism for redistributing saved or unused funds. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that the system should be clear, understandable and legal. They talked in the course of the meeting about road works. Among other things, they touched upon the topic of expanding some sections. For example, six streets were identified where additional traffic lanes were needed in Tiraspol in 2018. Two points have been implemented at the moment: the road has been expanded along Odesskaya and Pravdy streets. Vadim Krasnoselsky asked about the possibility of expanding the roadbed along Mira Street (along Pobeda Park). According to the deputy head of the capital's administration Gennady Gorokh, this issue was being worked out, but so far remained open. It will be necessary to implement the project to carry out a complete replacement of engineering communications.
The heads of state administrations of the agricultural regions of the republic informed about the course of the harvesting campaign. It is at the final stage for cereals. The speakers stated that the yield is not critical despite the drought.
The holding and preparation of new cultural events is among the obligatory points of the reports of the heads. The programs are especially rich and varied in the summer season. Thematic events dedicated to significant dates are held in addition to leisure and entertainment. Grigoriopol is 230 years old today. The celebration started the day before. The President, who visited the birthday city yesterday, once again congratulated the people of Grigoriopol and expressed gratitude to the local administration for organizing the events. Vadim Krasnoselsky drew the officials' attention to the richness and diversity of folk art works, which are traditionally exhibited during folk festivals. The President considers that the authors should have the opportunity not only to demonstrate the results of their work, but also to realize the work. The presidential instruction is to think over a single mechanism and provide places in each city for organizing exhibitions and sales of creative works. It can be both specially designated premises, and halls of various institutions, for example.
Farmsteads were also mentioned in the course of the meeting. This form of folk festivals is traditional for Pridnestrovie and reflects the multinationality and richness of cultures of the peoples inhabiting the republic. The pandemic circumstances of recent years have limited the possibility of organizing national farmsteads due to the mass nature of the participants. The country's leadership expects that this year the COVID situation will not worsen, that will allow returning to this tradition on the 2nd of September. The city and regions of the republic are preparing to present their farmsteads on the Day of the Republic both locally and in the center of the capital on behalf of Vadim Krasnoselsky.
