Today, the second in Tiraspol and the third in the republic as a whole multi-storey residential building was put into service, built at the expense of the state and future residents. The affordable housing program for public sector employees involves financing construction at the expense of the state treasury and investments of members of housing cooperatives with the possibility of soft loans for these purposes. The new settlers are the law enforcement employees. Their house is located in Benderskaya Street, 23a. The solemn ceremony of putting the object into operation and handing over the keys to the apartments was timed to coincide with the upcoming Militia Day. The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky took part in the festive event. It was he who owned the idea of launching an affordable housing program, the first stage of which is associated with the “revival” of long-term construction.
The Ministry of the Interior pays special attention to the issue of providing employees with housing at the departmental level. The cooperative program under the Ministry of Internal Affairs was launched back in 2004. Then a 40-apartment building in Larionova Street (Tiraspol) was commissioned. Two years later, another 80 families of Pridnestrovian militia officers received the keys to the apartments in the metropolitan house in Energetikov Street. By the Day of Militia 2008, a 128-apartment 16-storey building opened its doors for new residents. In 2009, the following three high-rise buildings were received by residents from among employees of law enforcement agencies. Houses were commissioned in 2010, 2014 and 2015. Housing updates appeared due to the efforts of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the support of the state and local administrations not only in the capital, but also in Bendery, Kamenka, Rybnitsa and Rybnitsa district.
The house that was commissioned today is the tenth for the Pridnestrovian militia officers, and the fifth for the capital’s. Already three hundred Tiraspol residents, representing various units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, have been provided with housing. Like the previous ones, the house in Benderskaya Street was built on the basis of long-term construction, which today in the republic is almost finished. 60 apartments of a ten-story building – are for employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 20 – for representatives of other budgetary sphere. Members of the cooperative and contracting organizations paid special attention to the entrances and improvement of the adjacent territory. The heating in the apartments will be maintained thanks to the autonomous heating system. Street lighting is provided, there are parking spaces, a children's playground is equipped, landscaping is underway. The honored guests of the celebration made their contribution to the site improvement. The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky and Minister of Internal Affairs of the PMR Ruslan Mova, along with new settlers, planted seedlings. Presidential gift – is a certificate for equipping a multifunctional sports and sport ground. It is suitable for practicing futsal.
Future plans include the implementation of a number of socio-infrastructure projects. This work will be carried out jointly by the city authorities, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Defense, whose house is located in the neighborhood. The President believes that there are all prerequisites for a lively, densely populated microdistrict in Benderskaya Street, in which it will be cozy and comfortable for families of representatives of public sector organizations of the republic.
