The PMR State Awards Ceremony was held

A solemn ceremony presenting state awards of the PMR took place in the Small Hall of the Palace of the Republic in honor of the 36th anniversary of the founding of Pridnestrovie. This tradition is an integral part of the celebration of independence. Those who have made a special contribution to the creation, preservation, and development of the country and society are honored on the eve of the main national holiday. Among those receiving awards are representatives of a wide range of professions and fields of activity – managers of various ranks and public figures, teachers and educators, lawyers and accountants, military personnel and law enforcement officers, farmers and workers, doctors and programmers, writers and artists, drivers and postmen, mechanics and janitors. More than a hundred Pridnestrovians have been awarded state awards and honorary titles for their active public service, conscientious performance of their official duties, and high professionalism.

Addressing the ceremony participants, the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky spoke of the Pridnestrovian people's greatest achievements as interethnic harmony and peace, maintained under the auspices of Russian peacekeeping, and of the country's greatest asset: the people. "People who teach, who heal, who maintain public order and public safety, who sow and harvest grain, who build and create, have today been awarded high state awards. This is right. This is how it should be. We must honor our people through you and never doubt for a second the correctness of the Pridnestrovian people's choice – the independence of our homeland," Vadim Krasnoselsky said.

The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky was awarded the military rank of "Colonel General" by decision of the Presidium of the Supreme Council dated July 14, 2026. This was announced today in the course of the ceremony by Tatyana Zalevskaya, the Head of the republic's legislature.
