The President was informed about the work carried out in the republic to eliminate the consequences of the snowfall

Vadim Krasnoselsky, opening the meeting, noted that the snowfall, especially after the complete absence of winter precipitation last year, is undoubtedly a joy for agrarians, but it is a serious test for housing and communal services.

The Minister of Internal Affairs reported to the President about how towns and districts deal with the consequences of the disaster. According to him, the movement of transport between settlements is difficult, and in some places is limited. Some intercity public transport services have been canceled. Ruslan Mova outlined snow-covered areas and so far impassable road sections, spoke about cases when, due to untimely clearing of the roadway, cars were blocked halfway, outlined specific shortcomings of the specialized services of individual administrations. It was noted during the meeting that electricity supply, gas supply and water supply in all settlements are provided without interruption. The President pointed out that first responders should be able to quickly get to any point in the republic in the event of an emergency.

According to the information announced in the course of the meeting, in Tiraspol 25 pieces of equipment, 39 workers were involved in clearing roads, 319 tons of sand and salt mixture were used, in Dnestrovsk - 5 pieces of equipment, 5 employees of housing and communal services, 132 tons of a mixture of salt and sand were used, in Bendery - 16 units of equipment and the same number of workers, 148 tons of mix, in Slobodzeya - 35 units of equipment, a similar number of communal services, 190 tons of a mixture, in Grigoriopol - 35 units of equipment (of which only two sand spreaders, which is extremely small, the minister drew attention to), 54 employees, 103 tons of sand and salt mixture, in Dubossary - 21 units of equipment, 85 workers, 190 tons of sand and salt mixture, in Rybnitsa - 40 units of equipment, 211 workers, 260 tons of sand and salt mixture, 7 units of equipment are involved in Kamenka, 37 workers of housing and communal services, to ensure the safe movement of 13 tons of sand and salt mixture. Approximately a hundred specialists from the State Department for Emergency Situations in addition to housing and communal services take part in this work, two dozen specially equipped equipment is at their disposal. Ruslan Mova said that the Emergency Management Department constantly monitors the situation. Vadim Krasnoselsky called for close cooperation and responsible attitude, stressing that the snowfall could be steady. The President emphasized that ensuring the safety and comfort of citizens, full-fledged life of cities and villages is our common task.
