Presidential visit to Red October

Within the framework of a working visit to the Kamenka district, Vadim Krasnoselsky visited the village of Krasny Oktyabr (Red October). The settlement was founded in 1924 and has 180 households, in which more than four hundred villagers live. There is a feldsher-obstetric station, a post office, a House of Culture, a library and an educational complex – a kindergarten school. Today, the institution is attended by seven schoolchildren and about two dozen preschool children. This year, the roof of the building was repaired (over 700 thousand rubles were allocated). It is necessary to change the windows, update the heating system, make cosmetic repairs in the classrooms and bathrooms. All this was told to the President. The facility will be recommended for inclusion in the capital investment program.

Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that an educational institution is one of the most important elements of rural infrastructure. The internal policy of Pridnestrovie envisages the preservation of even small schools in rural areas. Regardless of the number of students or pupils of an educational institution, comfortable conditions should be created for children, the President emphasized.

Knowing that the President would arrive in the village, local residents gathered at the school. The President asked about the needs of the villagers. They talked about rural roads. Asphalting is awaiting in Krasny Oktyabr. They said that the village club needed microphones, and even better - a set of sound-amplifying equipment. The PMR President took note of the questions. They will be included in the agenda of the next working meetings under the President.

Residents of neighboring villages with Krasny Oktyabr arrived to talk with the President. Representatives of Aleksandrovka expressed gratitude for the gasification of the settlement. They also talked about the lack of health workers in the villages. It was noted that the legal and regulatory framework governing the issues of combination in the healthcare sector is imperfect. Vadim Krasnoselsky said that he was in control of the situation and had already recommended some changes to the current legislation. They asked the President whether the work on the improvement and equipping of sports grounds and stadiums in rural areas would continue. The President spoke about the work carried out in this direction and what is planned for the future. They discussed the request directly on Krasny Oktyabr and nearby villages. Vadim Krasnoselsky instructed to prepare a project proposal so that this facility could be immediately included in the nearest plans to update the rural infrastructure.
