The President continues the practice of personally inspecting the progress of construction work at social infrastructure facilities. Vadim Krasnoselsky accompanied by officials representing the Government, state administration and their specialized divisions, visited the capital's locations today. Increased attention was paid to Pridnestrovian State University. The main university of the country is gradually changing. The focus is on interior work now. Vadim Krasnoselsky examined the repaired floors of the main building. Communications are completely changed there, major repairs of all premises are being made. The President entered the reconstructed gymnasium. The heating system has already been replaced. They are working on putting the floor and ceiling in order now. Vadim Krasnoselsky, the initiator of the global university renovation and re-equipment, asked about the purchase of furniture and equipment, tender procedures, and supplies. He paid special attention to equipping the multifunctional digital education center. Most of the equipment for IT Quantum has already been purchased, the rector of the Pridnestrovian State University Vladislav Sokolov informed.
The inspection team visited the campus, where the construction of the university temple is ongoing. The participants of the field meeting discussed the working issues related to the decoration of the church, exchanged views on color schemes, illumination of the temple and illumination of the surrounding area, and designated areas that will be covered with paving slabs. It was also about the placement of small architectural forms and landscaping. Dangerous dilapidated trees will be demolished. The green design will be updated.
The President visited Balka microdistrict. There, the reconstruction of the Aviators square is in full swing. The project involves several stages. The first is the replacement of engineering networks, covering the territory with paving slabs, preparing lawn areas, organizing functional and artistic lighting. The authors of the project preferred a suspension system to traditional lampposts. A grid, “woven” from many spherical lanterns located at a distance of a meter from each other, will cover the square. Luminous garlands will be placed at a height of 4.5 meters above the ground. On the recommendation of Vadim Krasnoselsky, supports will be decorated with flower arrangements in the future. Their design is yet to be determined. The President asked about the load that will fall on the electrical networks, emphasizing that lighting devices for economical consumption of electricity should be used. Such an important aspect for the organization of public space as latrines was not left without attention. The deputy head of the Tiraspol state administration Gennady Gorokh said that the administration of the cafe located in the park took over the construction of WC. It was noted that the leisure zone is provided with free access to the Internet – Wi-Fi. The current stage of improvement is planned to be completed by the City Day, which Tiraspol will celebrate on the 14th of October.
Another point of today's presidential detour is the future Museum Quarter. The PMR President visited the construction site of the future building of Pridnestrovian State Museum. The foundation has already been constructed. Its area is about 900 square meters. The building will be one-story, but the basement floor has been thought out, which the designers took away as a storage facility. Expositions will be arranged in the main premises, telling about the life of the region after the Great Patriotic War, as well as about the modern history of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The building under construction is one of the locations of the future museum complex, the creation of which was initiated and supervised by Vadim Krasnoselsky.
According to the idea of the President, the establishment of a museum profile, memorable and historically significant places not only of the city, but of the entire republic, will be included in tourist excursion routes in the future. They are already being worked on. One of the locations is the Kitskany bridgehead. The memorial complex, while retaining its fundamental structure, is changing in terms of the organization of public space. Construction, landscaping and design work is underway at the foot of the stele. Information boards are installed. All marble slabs should be in place by Tuesday, Head of the Slobodzeya state administration Vasily Tishchenko told the President today. Then they will start laying paving slabs. The amount of work to be done is large, but the contractors employed at the facility assured that they are meeting the deadlines. They have already dealt with the laying of electrical networks. It is proposed to organize watering of future lawns according to the “fog” principle, dispersing moisture in the air. High-quality black soil will be delivered before sowing grass. Additional landscaping will take place in the fall. Two viewing platforms are also to be improved. Current aspects were discussed during the offsite meeting. Job assignments were given. Vadim Krasnoselsky called such meetings on the ground a checking of clocks, noting that such projects are not being implemented in the offices. The reconstruction is expected to be completed by August 29, the 78th anniversary of the completion of the Iasi-Chisinau operation. Following the results of the inspection, the meeting participants came to the conclusion that the plan is being implemented: the Kitskany bridgehead will celebrate a significant historical date transformed.
