Reconstruction of the city fountain has been completed in Rybnitsa. Large-scale restoration work, for which the city allocated more than 6 million rubles, began in April last year. The opening of the renovated facility was timed to the Republic Day. The official launch of the fountain complex took place today, on the eve of the state holiday. Vadim Krasnoselsky with his wife took part in the significant event for the residents of Rybnitsa. The President, the Head of the administration and two young residents of Rybnitsa, pressing the symbolic button on the remote control, gave a symbolic start to a new milestone in the history of the fountain.
Addressing the residents and guests of the city present at the ceremony, the President noted the positive infrastructural changes taking place throughout the republic and, in particular, in the northern capital. Vadim Krasnoselsky expressed confidence that the revived fountain complex will become a decoration of the city, a comfortable and cozy recreation area.
The President expressed gratitude to everyone who took an active part in the implementation of socially significant project. The most distinguished were awarded with awards.
The new fountain complex is a lily pond, 87 jets gush, throwing up 200 cubic meters of water per hour. The bowl remained from the fountain, which was commissioned more than 40 years ago - it became the basis of the new structure. There are two bridges for passers in the center of the architectural composition. The adjacent territory has been improved: paths are paved with tiles (more than two thousand square meters), 22 new benches and 12 lanterns have been installed. Illumination and musical accompaniment are provided. For the first time, the Rybnitsa fountain will sing and dance with colored lights tonight as part of the second - cultural and entertainment - part of the festive program.
