The President held the Operational Headquarters Meeting on Energy

Deputy Chairman of the Government Sergei Obolonik reported in the course of the Operational Headquarters Meeting on Energy held by the President via videoconference that the energy system is functioning normally. He recalled the various measures, the implementation of which made it possible to preserve the infrastructure in stressful conditions, ensure gas and electricity supply to household consumers, and quickly restore heat supply. The Minister announced data on accidents. In the first half of this year, there were 12 accidents on main networks, 43 on intra-block networks, and about 2700 on intra-house networks. Heat supply has been restored throughout the republic. The temperature regime is within the norm – an average of 60 degrees. All educational institutions have resumed accepting schoolchildren and students, the Minister of Education Svetlana Ivanishina added to the report. As for kindergartens: all institutions have resumed full operation, with the exception of three preschool institutions in Kamenka district – in the villages of Severinovka, Sloboda-Rashkovo and Khrustovaya. It is still cool in these kindergartens (the coolant temperature is about 50 degrees, the head of the district Sergey Sokirka specified). The President asked about the reasons. The heat supply system at these facilities will be checked for serviceability. There is a proposal to install solid fuel boilers in these institutions as a matter of priority. The first three units, manufactured at the Elektromash plant, have been successfully tested. Five more such boilers are in the final stage of production.

Informing about the situation with electricity supply, Sergey Obolonik called it stable. He recalled that 3423 accidents were eliminated, affecting 124 thousand subscribers (every second consumer) during the energy crisis. There were 228 ruptures in the cold water supply networks in January-February, 42 of which were major accidents. Hot water supply is still unavailable. This is due to the limited volume of gas supplied to the republic. The daily consumption for providing citizens with it and generating electricity for household needs is about 3 million cubic meters. They were interrupted for three days after the resumption of gas supplies to the republic. The Pridnestrovians did not feel this thanks to a set of timely measures, emphasized Sergey Obolonik. He reported that tonight MGRES again switched to gas generation of electricity.

Minister of Internal Affairs Vitaly Neagu informed about the work of the anti-crisis information center. The hotline has received more than 18 thousand calls since December 25 last year. The number of calls has been minimal in recent days. It was decided to shut down the call center. The heating points will continue to function on the instructions of the President. They are needed for the period of the coming cold weather. The number and locations of placement will be adjusted depending on the situation. Another decision made in connection with the exit from the energy crisis is the return to the place of permanent residence of the wards of social institutions, which were temporarily located on the site of the Solnechny health resort.

The prospects for the introduction of alternative energy sources were discussed in the course of the meeting. Specific proposals and figures were made.

The heads of state administrations reported on the current state of affairs at the local level. They reported on the implementation of previously set tasks and presidential instructions. For example, Ilona Tyuryaeva spoke about the quality of food inspections carried out in schools. Representatives of the state administration, the sanitary and epidemiological service and the All-Pridnestrovian People's Forum participated in the control activities. No violations were found. Vadim Krasnoselsky recommended conducting such raids on a systematic basis without notifications about upcoming visits by inspectors. The President was informed that cooks who have completed their training are undergoing industrial practice in four kindergartens in the capital at the moment. Vadim Krasnoselsky was informed about the provision of city schools with medical workers: seven educational institutions do not have such a specialist at the moment. At the same time, each school has a pediatrician assigned to it, who is required to visit it once a week.

Concluding the working discussion, Vadim Krasnoselsky told that interaction with the heads of state administrations is maintained in the mode of permanent working contacts, and the work of the Operational Headquarters at this stage does not require weekly meetings.
