The President held an off-site meeting at PSU

Vadim Krasnoselsky inspected the progress of repair and construction work at the State University. The Head of the capital's state administration, the Pridnestrovian State University Rector, representatives of contracting organizations involved in the implementation of the capital investment program took part in the meeting on the ground. The inspection team led by the President visited the campus. They examined the future university temple. The church was named after the patroness of students, St. Tatiana. The stone structure was built instead of the previously installed temporary wooden structure. The participants of the inspection visit discussed the design of the temple. Attention was paid to the dome. They talked about the improvement of the area around the church, as well as plans for further reconstruction of the campus.

The PMR President walked through the repaired buildings of the university. Despite the holidays and the active phase of repairs, the President met not only builders at the educational institution. The university administration is working, getting ready for the entrance campaign and the new academic year. Vadim Krasnoselsky visited the wing reserved for the Quantum IT center. The premises are ready. They will be filled with modern equipment by September. Students will be able to use scientific and technological achievements, form and develop skills, and work on their own inventions. Mini-machines, soldering stations, 3D printers, robotics and much more have been purchased, said Olga Filipenko, director of the Center for Russian Education and Science of Shevchenko Pridnestrovian State University. The university furniture is also being updated, the rector said. According to Vladislav Sokolov, inventory is being carried out, assessment of the condition and, repair of the available furniture if necessary and possible. Outdated and dilapidated are replaced with a new one.

Inspecting the areas adjacent to the buildings of the Pridnestrovian State University, Vadim Krasnoselsky asked if cultural events were held on the renovated university square. The Head of the university spoke about the recent celebrations and youth actions held near the university fountain, noting that a stone student with a wise owl on his shoulder has become a traditional sign of the meeting place for young people. The President paid attention to the decorated with lantern-arch structures new square in front of the building of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports. Work is still going on there. The design of the entrance structure to the building was discussed. The porch and steps were recast. The arch will be saved. Vadim Krasnoselsky gave a number of recommendations and current instructions, including those regarding landscaping work.
