The heads of towns and district administrations informed the President in the course of the meeting with the heads of state authorities on the situation on the ground, reported on progress in the implementation of the Capital Investment Fund 2022 and other development programs, spoke about the implementation of plans for income and expenditures of local budgets, reported on the timeliness of social payments, including vacation pay to teachers. It was noted that schools have launched a campaign to enroll children in the first grades. The head of Tiraspol informed that the problem of parents' preference for certain educational institutions, mainly gymnasium profile, is a thing of the past, which previously led to uneven distribution of students, overcrowding in some classes and understaffing in others. There is a shortage of staff at the same time. The shortage of primary school teachers is forcing to increase quantity of pupils in classes, Oleg Dovgopol stated.
They talked in the course of the meeting about the summer health improvement of children. The third shift began in the camps. The institutions are in demand. The working discussion participants discussed issues related to the further improvement of leisure and recreation facilities. It was noted that those of them that are under municipal jurisdiction or under the jurisdiction of ministries are in the best condition, due to investments and their own income there are prospects for developing infrastructure. They stated at the meeting that trade union camps are falling into decay. The Government was instructed to study their condition and prepare recommendations aimed at improving the efficiency of the management of institutions. For example, it is possible to increase the number of visitors by 90 people per shift in the Dubossary summer camp. This will be possible in case of reconstruction and commissioning of the idle building.
Among the issues that were discussed in a working order at the meeting were the COVID situation, repair work in preschool educational institutions, water supply to the village of Krasnenkoe of Rybnitsa district, development and reclamation of quarries, linear landscaping of roadside sections of central streets. Attention was paid to road work. The village of Giska was discussed in this context: it was instructed to conduct an audit, assess the condition of the roadway, and identify areas that require urgent reconstruction.
