The head of Tiraspol Ilona Tyuryaeva mentioned among other things the development of a concept for the renovation of the gunpowder magazine at the "Saint Vladimir" bastion of the Tiraspol Fortress. She also reported on the municipal stage of the "Young Traffic Inspector 2026" contest, which involved 15 general education schools, as well as a citywide video contest on traffic safety rules that brought together 30 preschool institutions.
The head of Bendery reported that plans are in place to begin asphalt paving this week at the traffic circle, where Druzhby, 40 Let MSSR, and Suvorov streets intersect. Milling work and the installation of traffic islands have already been completed. Roman Ivanchenko noted that the city is preparing for City Day celebrations, with new decorations being planned not only for the city's anniversary but also for the upcoming New Year and Christmas holidays. A ceremonial meeting was held last week in Rybnitsa to mark the 35th anniversary of the Rybnitsa Department of Internal Affairs coming under the jurisdiction of the PMR. A major sports festival was organized at the "Oktombrie" stadium in Kamenka to celebrate the Day of Physical Culture and Sports Workers; 130 participants competed for 40 sets of awards. Grigoriopol District celebrated the patronal festival of the village of Teya on the weekend. Dubossary District hosted its traditional festival of folk traditions and crafts in Goyany. A memorial event will take place tomorrow in Dubossary to mark the anniversary of the tragic events of September 1941 – the mass execution of 18500 civilians by German-Romanian Nazis.
