The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky held a video conference during which city and district heads of state administrations presented reports on the current situation at their locations based on the results of the past week. The heads reported on the operation of public utilities, the progress of community improvements, the implementation of infrastructure projects, the state of the social sector, and the fulfillment of previously issued instructions.
Mayor of Tiraspol Ilona Tyuryaeva reported that major repairs are currently underway in seven apartment buildings, and routine repairs are underway in six. 173 elevators have been repaired over the past week. The mayor focused in her report on public transportation. According to her, 16 trolleybuses were operating on city routes on weekdays, and 13 on weekends. Electric transport made more than 800 trips during the week. 81 minibuses carried passengers daily. In total, nearly 246000 people used public transportation in the capital during the reporting period. City improvement work continues in Bendery. A commission has been established under the Educational Institution to assess the readiness of educational institutions. It will begin its work in August.
The harvest of first-group agricultural crops, grains and legumes, is ongoing in Slobodzeya District. To date, 20000 tons of grain have been threshed, covering 4300 hectares, with an average yield of 46.4 centners per hectare. Fruit and vegetable harvesting is underway.
