The President took part in the ceremony of special cancellation of the commemorative series of stamps “30 years of the peacekeeping mission”

The presentation and special cancellation of the commemorative series of postage stamps “30 Years of Peacekeeping Mission” took place in the Palace of Culture named after Pavel Tkachenko in Bendery. The event-related issue is timed to coincide with the anniversary of the entry of the Russian Peacekeeping Forces into Pridnestrovie. 11 stamps are included in the series. They are collected in two sheets: a historical chronicle (the beginning of the peacekeeping operation on the Dniester) and a modern cycle (Pridnestrovie 30 years later). 600 copies are in the circulation. 400 of them are decorated with special festive covers – in the form of a souvenir booklet. The photo chronicle was collected by Pridnestrovian photographer Valery Kruglikov. The text of the presidential congratulations is placed on the reverse side of the postcard. Vadim Krasnoselsky took part in the ceremony of the commemorative series canceling. The honorary right was also granted to the Russian Ambassador Oleg Vasnetsov and the First President of the PMR Igor Smirnov. Director of the Stamp Pridnestrovie publishing house Vsevolod Lavrentiev carried out the procedure. The heads of the authorities of the republic and members of the Joint Control Commission were present at the event as guests.
