The Municipal Special Correctional Educational Institution No. 2 is located in Tiraspol. It is attended by special children who need special conditions. They only dreamed of such until recently. Parents and teachers have been knocking on all doors for many years, trying to convey the information that children with problems of the musculoskeletal system and other similar diagnoses cannot study in classical educational institutions, and the building of a specialized institution, which has housed the Municipal Special Correctional Educational Institution did not meet not only the special requests and needs of the pupils and the norms as such. This kindergarten school has been under the special control of the PMR President since 2018. The facility at his insistence was included in the capital investment program for several years. New building was built, the old one was repaired, the territory was landscaped, equipping a sports and playground during this time. Today's solemn line dedicated to the Day of Knowledge, again with housewarming elements.
16 preschool children and 49 schoolchildren start this academic year in the renovated institution. There are nine classes. Taking into account the specifics of the educational institution, the number of students is small (maximum of eight today). It is not every year that you meet first-graders here. The first class is assembled this year. The President arrived to congratulate the young schoolchildren and the staff of the Municipal Special Correctional Educational.
The PMR President spoke about how important it is to create comfortable conditions for the stay of children and the work of adults. He recalled the pandemic-distance year 2020 and emphasized that studying remotely was a forced measure that one does not want to return to, especially when the educational institution is cozy, equipped, and comfortable. Vadim Krasnoselsky focused on the fact that 2019 that became the year of the emergence of the coronavirus for the whole world, passed under the sign of equal opportunities in Pridnestrovie. He launched many projects dedicated to people with special needs, including infrastructure, that are being implemented to this day. The state has spent over 70 million rubles on the construction and repair of correctional, rehabilitation, sports institutions for this category of citizens during four years. Modern specialized centers have appeared in Tiraspol, Bendery, Dubossary, the PMR President reminded and emphasized that work in this direction will be continued.
Vadim Krasnoselsky congratulated everyone on the holiday. He examined the transformed buildings and the territory of the institution together with other participants with the solemn event, noting the changes.
