The President held an offsite meeting on the facilities included in the program of the Capital Investment Fund this year. Vadim Krasnoselsky was accompanied by the Head of the Tiraspol administration Oleg Dovgopol, the Minister of Social Protection and Labor Elena Kulichenko, the Head of the Department of Architecture and Construction Ivan Untu, the Head of the Capital Department of Public Education Stella Bai. The schedule of visits includes social institutions, the infrastructure of which requires attention from the state and a serious investment. Among them there is the municipal preschool educational institution No. 23. This Tiraspol kindergarten will celebrate its 59th anniversary this year. There were no major repairs. The state of the facility is close to emergency. This section of the road will be repaired already this year. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that there should be no delays with the beginning of the reconstruction of the building, the walls of which are crumbling. There are no visors and ebb. Fire escapes are not safe to use. There is a major overhaul of the facade and roof, renovation of an unheated and fire-hazardous annex, upholstered with wood from the inside, as well as outbuildings and an entrance group. The interior is also to be completely renovated. All networks will be replaced - heat supply, water supply, electricity (in September 2019, a fire occurred in one of the groups due to faulty electrical wiring, the President was told). The floors will have to be redecorated - not only in groups, but also in the gym. The laundry complex will be completely renovated, the equipment of which is the same age as the kindergarten itself. The catering unit will also be repaired. Funds have not yet been allocated for the purchase of new kitchen equipment, but they are looking for sources. The territory of the kindergarten is in about the same condition as the buildings. Playgrounds, shady canopies, a sports area – all this is in need of repair.
The President recalled his demand to speed up the tendering procedures for all facilities included in the capital investment program this year. As for this institution, any delay here can be dangerous for the pupils and the team, Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized. It is necessary to start repairs in March, the President noted. Some of the children will be transferred to other institutions during the repair. The staff is conducting a survey of parents as to whether they will be able to leave the kids at home for the spring-summer period, or at least part of it, so that in September the children will return to the reconstructed kindergarten.
