Vadim Krasnoselsky held a meeting with the Heads of State Administrations

The PMR President held a meeting with the Heads of State Administrations of towns and districts of the republic. They discussed today not the usual issues of the beginning of the week of current life and plans for the improvement of settlements, but the measures that should be taken on the ground in connection with the establishment of a "red" level of terrorist threat in the country. Vadim Krasnoselsky informed the leaders of towns and districts about the state of affairs, spoke about the details of the terrorist attacks that took place on the territory of Pridnestrovie, outlined the main measures that should be implemented to ensure the safety of citizens (the full list of protective and preventive measures will be prescribed in the decree of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic). Checkpoints will be set up at the entrance to the cities of the republic. Inspection of vehicles and citizens during the daytime will be selective, control measures will affect everyone entering the settlement at night. The power structures have been transferred to an enhanced mode of service. State administrations were instructed to assist law enforcement officers. It is important to inform the population about what is happening in a timely manner in order to avoid panic and speculation, the President pointed out to the meeting participants. The PMR President called on citizens to treat the introduction of a special regime with understanding and responsibility from today, stressing that this measure is designed to ensure the security of the Pridnestrovian people. So far, the "red" level of terrorist danger has been set for 15 days.

Vadim Krasnoselsky said that the Ministry of State Security, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Investigative Committee and the Prosecutor's Office of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic are investigating the terrorist acts that have occurred in the republic, stressing that those responsible will be prosecuted for terrorism, attempted murder, and illegal possession of weapons.

Adjustments are being made in the existing circumstances to the program for celebrating the Great Victory Day. Vadim Krasnoselsky considers that a mass gathering of citizens, centrally organized in individual locations, is unsafe. Every resident of the republic at the same time will be able to privately congratulate the veterans and honor the memory of the fallen participants in the Great Patriotic War. Flower-laying ceremonies at the monuments and graves of the defenders will be held. Settlements will be symbolically decorated for the holiday, thematic concert programs will be prepared. It was decided to refuse salutes, again due to the mass character of the audience.

City educational institutions have been transferred to remote learning until the end of the academic year.
